Wide-ranging itinerary, with part of the asphalted climb but rewarded by a wonderful environmental context.
Then a climb on a path / mule track that can be pedaled at 85% which leads to an altitude of over 3000 m; considering the considerable altitude it is an itinerary to be carried out in summer or at the beginning of autumn, with stable days from the weather point of view, also to fully enjoy the panorama.
Excursion in full PNGP. It goes without saying that respect for flora and fauna, hikers and trails is a must and binding. It is not possible to leave the paths.
PROGRAMME:
Meeting at the "Il Pirata" bar with the MTB guide.
Check material and start on asphalt up to the Nivolet hill (1000m D +).
Asphalt stretch avoidable with the Shuttle (not included in the package, if necessary contact us).
Beginning of the ascent on a path and then on vast grasslands crossed by a beautiful earthy track.
Narrow coils but little hanging.
We continue changing the environment on reddish gravel, until we go under the hill, where 100 m of D + of portage await us.
From the Nivolet plains to the 85% uphill cycle route, 700m D +.
And then ... descent .. Fast, gentle and panoramic, except for some single passages (95% cycling,).
From the Nivolet hill we then take the Strada Reale, very varied with a few cuts on single tracks. Cyclability is 99%.
The last km, from Chiapili di Sotto to Ceresole will be on asphalt.
At the end Sinoira snack tasting typical products at KM0.

Col Leynir is among the most suggestive places in the whole Orco valley, especially for the characteristic panorama of reddish sand, where fantastic single tracks flow that lead to Nivolet, to then continue the descent on the old Royal road, which alternates mule track, stretches dirt road and single track again.
This tour that leads to 3100 m is among the most classic on the southern slope of the Gran Paradiso.
In the event that you choose MTB, a good training is required given the 1700m of D +, and a habit of portage in some stretches.
In case of E-Bike (possible on this itinerary, and chosen by default in the package), the battery comes to our aid.
