The valleys of Piantonetto, Valsoera and Eugio, dotted with beautiful glacial lakes and surrounded by imposing mountains that have made the history of mountaineering, perfectly express the wild and primitive character of the Piedmont side of the Gran Paradiso National Park.

The area is characterized by the presence of 4 artificial lakes, all obtained starting from pre-existing natural lakes of glacial origin through the construction of imposing dams for the hydroelectric exploitation of the waters.

Second night in an unmanaged refuge.

Close encounters with the typical fauna of the protected area (ibex, chamois, bearded vulture, eagles, marmots etc etc).
PROGRAMME:

Day 1: arrival in Locana (TO), meeting with the hiking guide and transfer to Lake Telessio; Ring trekking of Lake Telessio and check-in at Rifugio Pontese.

Day 2: excursion to the Pontese refuge 2217 m, Bocchetta di Valsoera 2683 m, Lake Lajet 2750 m, Lake Motta 2656 m, Lake Nero di Valsoera 2413 m, Lake Valsoera 2430 m, Rifugio Pocchiola Meneghello 2440 m and overnight at the refuge.

Day 3: hike to the Destrera pass 2539 m, the Alpuggio pass 2560 m, Gelato lake 2846 m, Bort lakes 2604 m, Boccutto lake 2475 m Losere lake 2313 m, Nero d'Eugio lake 2056 m, Lake Eugio 1860 m , mount Arzola 2158 m, Posio 1400 m. Transfer to Locana (TO).
