Very long very demanding ride both technically and physically.

A lot of portage uphill, 3 hills, long descents always difficult and constant but with a high percentage in the saddle; the Royal mule track is magnificent and entirely cycle up to the Losere lakes, then there are many landslides and other non-cycle sections.

It lasts the ascent to Colle Sià where, now the fatigue of the tour is felt .. from anthology the descent from Sia to Ceresole!

We will provide you with maps, detailed itineraries and GPS tracks, booking accommodation and transfers for you and giving you the best advice for your e-bike and mountain bike experience in Gran Paradiso.

Then a climb on a path / mule track that can be pedaled at 60% which leads to an altitude of over 3000 m; considering the considerable altitude it is an itinerary to be carried out in summer or at the beginning of autumn, with stable days from the weather point of view, also to fully enjoy the panorama.

Excursion in full PNGP. It goes without saying that respect for flora and fauna, hikers and trails is a must and binding. It is not possible to leave the paths.

PROGRAMME:

​

Start from Ceresole Reale and ascent on asphalt to the Chiapili hamlet.

From here you take the Royal Mule Track. Follow it up to Lake Agnel at an altitude of 2360 m. Follow a couple of km of asphalt until you reach the Losere Lakes where the "King's Path" begins.
From here a long traverse takes us under the Colle della Porta (almost entirely cycle), where then the first stretch of portage begins, which leads us to the first hill (2905 m).
So we start the first very technical and exposed descent, which takes us under the Colle della Porta (3005 m). We reach him with another stretch of portage.
We wait for a short downhill stretch to be tackled on foot, until we reach the very technical Strada del Re with numerous hairpin bends on dry stone walls still in perfect condition.
You still pass on simpler terrain by crossing a stream, following the signs for Colle Sia. From here starts the last tough climb (5% cycle) towards Colle Sia.
Now there is nothing left but descent, a succession of high steps, boulders, roots and various obstacles, concentration always at the maximum, which are connected to us in the center of Ceresole.
