The area is characterized by the presence of 4 artificial lakes, all obtained from pre-existing natural lakes of glacial origin through the construction of imposing dams for the hydroelectric exploitation of the waters.
First night we rest Pontese's refuge, the second night in an unmanaged refuge (Pocchiola/Meneghello).
Close encounters with the typical fauna of the protected area (ibex, chamois, bearded vulture, eagles, marmots etc etc).

Multi-day naturalistic / experiential trekking on the Piedmont side of the Gran Paradiso National Park. Accompanied by expert local hiking guides, great connoisseurs of these valleys, we will spend the night at the Royal Hunting House of the Gran Piano.
There will also be a visit with tasting of typical products at Alpe Gran Prà, where we will try to lead grazing animals. A nice mule will also accompany us on this wild journey along the ancient royal mule tracks. Close encounters with the typical PNGP wildlife (ibex, chamois, eagles, bearded vultures, marmots, etc.) are guaranteed.
